Aunt Lorriane Died April 18 and Aunt Fran died on Saturday

Aunt Fran and Aunt Lorraine were my mother's aunts. (Two of Grandpa Greg's sisters.) I remember them both as feisty old ladies, always so friendly and kind and the best of friends. Seems fitting they died so close together. They were only apart a few weeks. That's nice.

It was so obvious at Aunt Fran's services that she was so loved by both her McElrone family and her Franciscan family. I think of her and of Aunt Lorraine as strong women who modeled for the rest of us how to express individuality and live fueled by the power of one's convictions and according to one's values and to be happy doing it.
