We went camping on Earth Day weekend with Terri and John and their grandchildren, Lexi and Jack and some of their friends. We took a long hike, saw tadpoles or very small fish in the lake, had rock skipping contests and tried to throw pebbles into a floating worm container. We washed all of our disposable dishes in honor of Earth Day. After dinner we roasted marshmallows and told spooky stories. Kameron told a very long story about a flea found in a carton of milk and how it was trying to take over the world. We were all scared of that one. At night a dog barked and barked and kept some of us awake. In the morning it started to rain, so we had to pack up and head out before we got soaked.
